Everything is fantastic here, had a perfect 10/10 stay for a vacation. The building is lovely and the rooms are brand-new with a kitchen, a balcony, a refrigerator. The beachside restaurant in the hotel is good, has excellent dishes.

The location turned out to be marvellous and beautiful, very close to great food venues, and Pueblo Bonito Mazatlán. There was El Paraje The Place next to the hotel. Big size room, everyone was best.

My stay was perfect 10/10 for a vacation. The location was unbeatable as for me, not far from the main restaurant there, an Asian / Sushi bar at night and best beach. Plus, it was approx 50 mins walk from Playa Cerritos.

There were a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and an individual safe in the room, greatly enjoyed that. Bathtubs in the private bathroom was a plus. The hotel's position was beautiful and perfect, close to everything. This was my very nice stay for a vacation.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to everything and situated in a beautiful historic area. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view of the surroundings. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to accommodate guests. The breakfast at Cilantros was delicious, and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly.
The limited restaurant options at the hotel were inconvenient, as guests had to travel to another location for more choices.

Located on a great beach, the newly renovated resort offers a pleasant stay. The main restaurant, Cilantros, serves delicious food and has friendly staff. The rooms are nicely updated, offering a great view. The service at the front desk and bell desk is accommodating. Guests can enjoy a variety of Mexican beers by the pool. The resort also has a snack bar and an Italian restaurant within walking distance.
The noise from ongoing construction can be disruptive during the stay.

Very comfortable traditional Mexican-styled resort with excellent location to enjoy the local restaurants, beach and pool areas. By far the nicest resort on the beach in Mazatlan. Emerald Bay is newer and grander, but not as conveniently located and rather isolated. Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan had everything we look for in a resort. I believe all of the rooms are oceanview. I particularly like the fact that they have two pool areas - one was away from the activities area and the noise that goes along with it. Although many people like those things and they were happy too. Also, they have lots of poolside umbrellas and beach palapas. They don't bother you with lots of annoying rules, have free WiFi, a/c, and the Jacuzzi is actually warm. One of the nicest vacations we've taken in Mexico in 25 years!
Not a complaint about the hotel, but a note about the area in general. We found Mazatlan to be a very nice area, the local people are very friendly but the hard times have made them pretty persistent to try to sell you stuff you don't need. Lots of beach vendors, but they stay back from the palapas unless you invite them over. On the streets, the timeshare hustlers are pretty thick and hungry. About the only way to get them to leave you alone is to keep walking and ignore them. Or you can do what we did and attend all of them and make some cash if you can stand to listen to presentations, then say no thanks.
